“I am in favour of integrative medicine because I believe that all available knowledge and resources should be made available to people.”

Specialities
To accompany a person to solve their health problems, it is essential to take the time to listen to them. Listening to their history, reading and interpreting the reports of other specialists, reviewing their medication, and pooling all my knowledge to give the best guidelines for individualised preventive medicine.

Family and Community Medicine
Medicine centred on the person and their family and social context for personalised health advice for each case.

Traditional Chinese Medicine
Very useful for the prevention and treatment of illnesses through diet, physical exercise, Qi Gong, the use of medicinal plants, acupuncture and the regulation of emotions.

Shiatsu
Shiatsu is a way of gently stimulating the body's ability to regain balance in health, physically, emotionally and spiritually.
About me
I decided to study medicine to help people feel better and to be able to fully enjoy their lives.
Along the way,
- I have been able to better understand the human being and the nature we live in.
- I decided to train in complementary therapies in order to have more tools to help.
- I have studied acupuncture and shiatsu, both wonderful tools for pain treatment and prevention.
- I have discovered that dance, music and theatre are also wonderful tools to live a healthier life.
I am eager to continue learning and to bring a little more collectivity and art into our society so that we can live happier, healthier, and with-consciousness!
I speak
Spanish, english, french and portuguese

The best medicine of all is to teach people how not to need it.

Experience
I studied medicine at the University of Seville and the Autonomous University of Barcelona.
I did my MIR training in Family and Community Medicine, learning, from each of the medical specialties, the preventive aspects to avoid the onset of diseases, the urgent care of health problems and to know when it is necessary to refer to a specialist.
I worked in Switzerland in paediatric and internal medicine units.
I travelled to communities in Mexico, attending births and basic health needs, in the Democratic Republic of Congo as a field doctor with Médecins Sans Frontières and in the Somali region of Ethiopia training community health workers and attending hospital emergencies.
In recent years I have worked in health centres and in hospital and out-of-hospital emergencies in Spain.
Now I want to put into service everything I have learnt so far, in an integrative way, giving each person the tools they need to solve their problems or simply to live in better health.
Without forgetting that human beings are social beings, and that health also involves building healthy relationships, observing nature and learning to live in community.

Some references about me
I am grateful to these two health professionals for their efforts to give way to and make possible the way of understanding health as defined by the WHO, even though the official health system has not yet achieved it.
I have had several shiatsu treatments. I have had muscle pain for a long time, and the shiatsu treatment every now and then gives me a lot of relief for a long period of time. Receiving this treatment from a female doctor seems to me to be the perfect combination. I will be back soon. Thank you very much.
Very good experience and great professionalism. Close and human treatment that makes you feel very comfortable. 100% recommendable.
