Shiatsu: A therapeutic massage to restore balance

Shiatsu is a massage of Japanese origin that is based, among other things, on the pressure on the acupuncture points and on the work on the fascia through channel stretching.

Because the energy, which circulates freely through our body, can be blocked, stagnant and we can feel pain, tiredness or any other symptom.

Alternative to traditional medicine

If you are dealing with stress, anxiety, chronic pain, or other health problems, Shiatsu may be the solution you are looking for.

The ways of approaching Shiatsu are different, as well as medicine in general. We can go to a session to relieve physical tension or states of anxiety, but we can also resort to it, just like acupuncture, as a means of promoting our health, balancing any imbalances that may exist in our body at that time and preventing them from set in or progress to a physical illness.

Canales de energía del shiatsu

The objective of Shiatsu is to stimulate and support the natural processes of self-healing, well-being and personal growth, and to maintain health by seeking the balance of the person’s vital energy.

The treatment is based on the application of pressure, energy and physical work on the channels (meridians) and on points to balance the circulation of the body’s vital energy (Ki or Chi).
